The average Instagram user can pull their analytics straight from their phone in real-time, even if they don’t understand them. In this same instance, it’s important that every marketer knows how to read and understand their analytics and how to put these numbers to good use. Think about a YouTuber, Youtube and Google provide real-time, daily, monthly and even yearly analytical snap shots for them to understand their audience and more. At the end of the day just like a YouTuber wants to understand their audience, us as marketers want to understand our consumers.
