Your culture defines who you are and what you stand for. A lot of brands have their own culture but represent another, this falls under being a culture vulture. If you don’t quite understand what a culture vulture is, let me allow urban dictionary to explain it to you. Culture Vulture according to UrbanDictionary is a person or an organization making profit using unhonorable practices from a culture they do not care for.
Many companies fall under hot water in the media for displaying this type of behavior. Facebook recently was in the media because although Facebook portrays an image encompassing the acceptance of all cultures, the company culture failed to do the same. Facebook isn’t the only company/brand with this behavior, what do you think about companies that portray and profit on one culture but internally are another?
